BEWARE Zr2 Chevy blazer 5 speed

Frame and cab are junk. Do not believe " no problems wat so ever" in this post. The FRAME IS CRACKED NEARLY IN HALF behind the right lower control arm. Most of the BODY MOUNTS ARE GONE, has a 2" body lift and most of the pucks are pushed completely through the rusted mounts and no longer attached, just sitting on the floor pans. As a bonus the tires are bald. It is not safe for the road (probably not trails either). Feel free to confirm this yourself, I just don't want to see anyone waste their time or money without knowing exactly what issues this blazer has
(I owned it for over 10 years and beat the f*ck out of it, I four wheeled it, hit a deer with it (why it has jimmy fenders) and had it airborn more times than the general lee. It is a good parts vehicle but nothing more. I sold it about a year ago giving the new owner full knowledge of it's condition for $1000. Pic 4 is just before I removed the roof rack and cowl hood and sold it)

Think we've seen this one before in the Louisiana area.

I don't disagree with you... it always seemed like a lack of ambition to me when someone was putting int the time, but not getting themselves credentialed. I wonder if he was working as day labor?

What an idiot. About the only thing he gets right is 1965 F100

Classic Ford F100 1/2 ton pickup truck
Automatic transmission
352 Y block/V8 engine
Independent front suspension
Positraction rear end

I've decided to move on from restoring this Valiant.

Found this car 47 years ago parked in an open face block garage. I finally was able to purchase it 14yrs now.

I am the 2nd owner.

The original owner, Henry ordered it in 63 took delivery in spring 64.. drove it daily and raced it on the weekends. He then decided to make the Valiant track only. The engine was altered for drag racing... not sure to what extent internally, but I know it has a mechanical cam, a deep sump oil pan and had fenderwell headers at one point. I've not tried to start the engine nor would I suggest that... it's been silently for 47yrs!

The body is practically 98% rust free, the interior is original and together. The heater box was removed when he decided to race the car full time, but I have it stored in the trunk along with a box of interior pieces.

The Valiant still has pie crust slicks bolted on from when it was parked 47yrs ago. The car was a regular winner at Pacemakers in Mt. Vernon and most frequently at National Trail Raceway, there are several winner sticker remaining on the passenger qtr glass. Henry told me many more winner stickers were present at one time, but National Trails officials ordered him to removed the rest because they were obscuring their view from the tower side!!

It's a survivor, basically untouched.... just raced and then parked!

Pictures were taken at the time of installing 1973 OEM front disc brakes to get it rolling again... DONE!

The pice is $6500, not a penny less! You'll not find a more rust free car of this age especially in this region!

This original V200 Valiant with a solid body isn't an everyday find! I have the original Certicard to prove it's an authentic 273 4spd car !!

You either appreciate what it is and the price or you don't. I'm not interested in debating its sale nor care to hear an opinion of it value... I know it's value, I'm not selling it for less! Best case scenario... I'll keep it and have an awesome MOPAR to enjoy!

I'm NOT desperate to sell it, truthfully... I may not if I think about it long enough.

Call 614-209-NICK (6425)
