Yeah, I've never understood the rust bucket look. Especially for a gloriously designed Imperial.
Got some new sneakers yesterday after work for Tina Patina...4 Cooper WW Trendsetters. She is next in line at the Mankato shop...Little Red almost done with the mechanical overhaul.
3/4 inch.
Tina Patina is getting her turn in the shop. Sounds like a fuel gauge, heater, brakes, brake booster to rebuild, etc...at first wave. We'll get her mechanical parts done and then tackle any body issues...I'd like to get new vinyl top and rear quarters repaired before Spring. Still think I will keep the patina for awhile. New WW tires are sitting in storage to get on her eventually.

They're a good group of mechanics...wish I had another Imperial in the on-deck circle after Tina Patina...nothing brewing at the moment...they did a wonderful job with Lil' Red and McGoldy...Tina P. should keep them busy for the long winter months.
Maybe I should fly home and take my Tawny Gold to them. She needs some freshening!
Well, Tina Patina is getting her chance in the spotlight....she has been very patient with Lil' Red and McGoldy on the hoist before her...they're going through her at the Mankato shop today...she will be there throughout the long winter months. First thing on list is fuel tank replacement, sending unit, brakes and booster rebuild...more to come...I'm excited to finally get to her.

This guy has original phenolic bowls and carter rebuild kits he sells with them at a very good price.
I just bought one for the large bowl so better hurry.... he may still have some.

yep, I will keep that in mind. It needs front end work, fix electric door locks, and the trans/torque conv. needs rebuilt. Some suspicious oil leaks.
