There are some morons on my street with some hopped up diesel (or loud pipes, I'm not diesel versed enough to tell) truck and they are obnoxious as hell.

That truck appears to have a relatively stock exhaust. But I get what you are saying. I am at work right now and out the window, there are 90% diesel trucks of various heights and about 10% cars. I would bet over half never tow and most probably "roll some coal" at stop lights. You just picked a bad example to prove your point. Then again I live in Montana, work in North Dakota, and grew up in Wyoming. We always made fun of the populated areas and wondered how any one could live with so many neighbors. LOL

And what statement are you trying to make driving a 20 foot long antique gas guzzler?
