Oh man, were they free rolling?
Free rolling yes, free stopping no, and with a nice downward slope to the driveway, I found out the brakes didn't work, VERY FAST LOL
A workout is a 57 Dodge 4 door sedan rocker panel deep in the dirt with all 4 tires flat and the brake shoes bonded to the drums and only accessable from the side....... using a come-a-long in 95 degree sun.

WE BAD.....!
You Win Will, must be a Mopar thing :eek:ccasion14:

Here's my trailer hauler. The "meager cab".

This pulled in next door to my shop (Bennett Power Sports) it was towing a trailer no more than 8 feet long and no more than 4 feet wide, just a flat deck, I thought of Stan right away and this topic,

Now the Funny

Lifted 2WD
Sewer Pipe Stacks
Cammed Diesel
A tool driving it
Texas style bumper on the back that said "Redneck"

As you can see I was embarrassed to go outside and take the picture.

Here's I few I have or have had in the past...

Ramchargers are so much fun. Unfortunately I've only owned one but I'd love to have another one.

You had the trailer setup up so the downhill slope would help you get them on right?

My Dad had a similar situation when he bought or 59 Caddy back in the 80s. Redneck owner failed to mention that the brakes were gone (He'd been driving on the e-brake.) and it rolled down the driveway into a mudpit first thing. The price came down a good bit once the Redneck had no choice but to have my Dad's fury wagon pull his Cadillac out of his neighbor's lawn.

I'll show off too. Just under 15k with a C loaded in the trailer. Pulled my 69 Monaco back from the interior of BC with it, and the 65 NY parts car from Polson, MT. The 5.7 got it's exercise, but didn't complain too much.

And back in the good old days (1980) pulling through the rockies

I thought about a cummins conversion im my 64 crewcab. I was told to look for an 89/90 unit. Probably best to find a complete truck.

Anything from 1989 to 1997 will have a 5.9 12 valve Cummins w/ manual pump. In 97 1/2 they switched to the 24 Valve EFI version. The earlier ones are getting harder to find.
