To Tint or Not to Tint, That is the question.

btw, I forgot to mention - I Love the color scheme on your Imperial! Is it original? I don't know that I recall ever seeing before is why I was wondering.

Its your car . If you want to tint the windows to keep it cooler inside then go for it. I plan to tint the windows on my current '61 fury when the restoration is complete

I'm going to tint both of my Formal's......got to protect the interior's of both cars. Too hard to find donor car's with pristine interior's since no one repop's ANYTHING for a Formal.

Ahh! I like it - didn't think I'd forget anything that striking if I'd seen it before from the factory.

Stan's New Yorker is part Imperial.....other than being a re-skinned Imperial (all 1976-1978 New Yorker's are re-skinned 1975 Imperial's) it does have front (1974-1975) Imperial turn signal lens on it. Which have the cool Imperial eagle on them. LOL!

I've been tossing around doing the very same scheme on the wife's '78 NYBS, but with a darker silver or grey instead of the black. The original paint is weak in a couple of spots.

I love it! It goes great with the character and color scheme...
AND it's functional.
While I'm in Indiana, the wagon only gets out in the spring, summer and fall and being a wagon with an acre of glass it can get pretty toasty in there...Been thinking about tint ($250.00) but since it's already a great green house I guess I could grown tomatoes in it.
