Stewart is thick with lawyers. There is Contributory negligence, the guy was on the track. Just because it was common to go out on the track, doesn't mean it was sanctioned or conforming to the rules. I have been there, Stewart was racing on a sanctioned track, and some dummy challenged him with his body. case closed. I am not a Stewart fan, And I don't follow NASCAR, or sprint races. These are the Cold hard facts per the law pretty uniform through the Country.

haven't been following any of this on the news and first lve seen of it was vid above...no idea why he was on the track but headin into traffic instead of off the track was bad idea..emotions overtook common sence...only reason anyone should be on the track is cars on fire...l don't follow any raceing...bottom line sad business for all concerned

No indictment of Mr. Stewart.

Tony Stewart will not face criminal charges in Kevin Ward Jr.'s death, a grand jury in upstate New York decided.
The Ontario County District Attorney's office took the evidence in Stewart's case to a grand jury, which found there was no basis for criminal charges, D.A. Michael Tantillo announced Wednesday.

Tantillo said toxicology reports revealed that Ward was under the influence of marijuana at a high enough level to impair judgment.

As a complete outsider I must say, he must answer to God only, no one else... Anyone attending to competition like this, must understand there is always lives you play with, your own and some others...

As much I love the speed, years have told me to respect everyone's life.

There was probably hundred's of video's and pictures of that race just because Stewart was racing. If it was intentional....he would of been charged today.

Bet there's gonna be mandatory drug testing on the local level starting next year.
