The 727 is the envy of GM guys. They have no match for it. in fact, starting in the sixties GM paid royalties to Chrysler to copy the valve body and kickdown system to use in their turbo 400's. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. if you need good cores I have at least six sitting here In Nebraska.

thank you, I have thought about the power glide.
Unless you have a mountain of power, your not going to like it. The ratios on first and second are the same (or really close) IIRC to the ratios of second and third gear on the turbo 350 or turbo 400 trans. I had a 68 Firebird that had a power glide. I went the other direction and swapped a turbo 350 into it. It was a great improvement.

I heard Women got it right a way, the men were a little stubborn. They liked the three speed.HA
