Just a suggestion: If you have some of the rings that you are looking for, you might try posting several good close-up photos of them. Show the curves and lines that may be pressed into them, both in the main well area and outer flange, the back side so we can see the style of clips it has, the shape of the valve stem hole, the depth of the ring (lay it face down on the table and measure to the top edge, the type of material & finish (chromed steel, aluminum, Stainless steel, / polished finish or brushed), and any stamped numbers or paint pen info on them...ect. Most of us have accumulated odd rings in our own searches for the "Right" ring. If you can really be specific, your odds are better of finding what you need. Try to hone in on the model year(s) as best you can and make sure of who's Roadwheel it is. Mopar, Ford, Gm, AMC -They all had them but the good news about that is that there were only a couple(few?) Wheel Manufacturers that supplied all the Car Manufacturers. Hope this helps a little. In search of two original trim rings for late 70s 15x7 steel road wheels.
Good question.We'e the 15 x 7 different than the 6s?
um ... I think it's obvious that the 7" road wheel has a unique trim ring.
Good question.
Ha Ha Ha!!! this is funny. Is this how forums work? Like I said, I'm new around here. What is the definition of "is"? And since we are throwing things into the Mix Master, and I undoubtedly will be all wrong about this.....but I always thought that the style of wheels that Elcane has shown us was known as a Rallaye wheel (however the heck you spell it) and that the Road wheel was Mopar's rename of the Magnum 500 wheel (the 5 nickel plated spoked, steel wheel with the 5 deep set ovals all in black). But back to your original question, Elcaine, I really think that if you shoot that photo to Murray, he can give definitive information and may very well have what you are looking for. Do you have his contact info?
Yes they were different. These are the 15x7s on my T&C that I got from an 80 Diplomat coupe in the wreckers in the late 80s.Good question.
