Trunk Release Button correct location ?

Hi,

I am adding the factory trunk release button: 1968 Chrysler Newport

Does anybody have a picture of where the factory put them ?

For '67 (Monaco) vacuum release button is in the glove box.

Adding an electric mechanism would be more reliable and easier to wire, by observation.

I added this to my Sport Fury and eliminated the push button all together. If you have a vacuum release, you are stuck with adding the button.
