TRW/Thompson P/S pump

From what I have found searching, my 66 VIP with a (318) has a TRW/Thomspson P/S pump. It has a leak/drip on the bottom of the housing. I purchased a seal kit from Ad.... which according to them, states it's for a Chrysler pump for a 66. The seal or large O Ring seams a bit to big. Doesn't sit in the groove tight. Does anyone know of somebody who carries the correct seal? I've checked other local parts stores and on line. Can't seem to find a seal kit particular to a TRW/Thompson. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

They used more that one pump for the '66 Plymouth Down load the FSM at www.mymopar.com it is free and you will find the FSM in the tools/refrernce section from the home page. Pumps are located in section 19 of the service manual.

i got a proper fitring seal kit for my 65 TRW steering pump. aa there is a wide selectiin of kits abailable but nobody to actually talk to, you'll certainly need to properly identify your os pump in order to choose the applicable seal kit

Received an EDELMAN Part #7897 P/S pump seal kit(plain end shaft)for my 66 Fury VIP TRW/Thompson pump from RockAuto. Canister seal was a perfect fit. Thanks again for the heads-up!
