Anybody replace their turn signal switch with an aftermarket repop or an NOS unit? I'm tired of everyone telling me I have a tail light out on the road. I have seen a repop for $140 on ebay and a few NOS units for $200+.

Just curious if anyone has done this and how pleased or disappointed you were with the result. I know our cars are notorious for this. It is going in a 69 300 with a non tilt steering wheel with cornering lights.

This is from the Sheemar catalogue. You can actually buy the switches on Ebay.

Thanks dematt, I have seen their listings on ebay. Has anyone actually used their product? I don't care if it is nos original, I just want to make sure it is quality. Thanks

I understand them to be good quality. I have tilt/tele in my Imp so that switch is not repopped but I have used the cam to repair the original switch. I would say you should be confident using one from them.

It would probably work fine. How does the price compare with the same one from She-Mar?

I'd say either would work and there's a possibility that one company made them both.
