3M makes a rubber wheel you use with an electric drill, works great. It’s like a giant pencil eraser of hard rubber. Takes about two of those wheels to do a fusie Monaco wagon.

Took the car for a ride today, felt good to stretch her legs a little. Helped a friend move some furniture, found I need to get the rear seat to fold into the well, so that will be looked at in the coming days. She needs a bath before she goes into storage.

I like your car, it’s a great color and style. The aftermarket wheels and raised letter tires are perfect. And Mopar road wheels are perfect too. You can’t go wrong.

Swapped the weird adapter for the fan, and installed a spare clutch fan assembly. Gone is the howling that made the engine sound like it was going to blow up. Exhaust noise sounds like a rod is knocking, so it's annoying in a different way! But it is much more tolerable.
Gave it a bath before I put it in storage.
I have plenty of room to walk around the car, always makes for an easier entry when it's time to retrieve the car in the spring..

Either U-haul didn't ask or you told them you were putting a smaller car on their trailer because I know they wouldn't allow that size/weight vehicle to be towed on their trailer.
Check with some places that sell trailers if they rent car haulers.
I went to buy a new car hauler and after talking to the salesman about how much I needed to use, not often, he suggested renting from them.
I can rent a like new trailer, 18' deck, 2' dove tail, 16" tires with spare and electric trailer brakes for last time I rented, $35.00 day.

Hate to disagree with you, but when I brought my 1976 New Yorker home from North Dakota I had the same size trailer. It all depends on how you fill out the reservation form.

Thanks Jeff, the credit goes to Wyatt and Manny, they did all the work, I was just the transport guy.
Now I just have little things to tinker with bet ren putting some miles in the car.

I've had no issues towing our C body cars with a U-Haul trailer. Done it several times, and I'd do it again.
