He was a supervisor in the "Front End Design Group". That may have been the last front end he worked on before retirement. His group had to figure out how to actually build what styling sent them. I remember him telling me how expensive that mesh grille insert was. I would only learn of all the cool designs he was involved in years after he left Chrysler.
