Members we haven’t heard from in a while.

This is a great thread, haven't heard from @LeBaron1973 for a while.
Hello from Christchurch NZ. It's been several years since I've been here as I sold the car back in 2018 I think.

Hope all are in good health. My current vehicles are a 2000 Lincoln Navigator (looking to sell) and a NZ new RHD 2005 Ford Explorer Limited. 2005 was the last year Ford offered factory RHD. (Mustang excepted). All current RHD American trucks are remanufactured in Australia (mainly, some here in NZ). From what I was told by a Chevrolet Pickup owner recently, a new firewall, and a Factory appearing dash are manufactured and installed and hey presto your new RHD Truck appears. Did that German fellow ever get his his 1968 Imperial finished?

I believe that you are referring to @vdk2010 . He’s still assembling the pieces but has had the car painted. It’s a 1969.

Is Graham Warner from Calgary still on the forum? I had a nice day meeting him and other Calgary and Alberta guys a few years ago. Also a shout out to Tobias from pnw USA, formerly from Calgary.
Hey there John I am still around although I do not have a Cbody at the moment. Been working on my 79 300 and it is almost road ready. Hope all is well in NZ!

Can't actually search for him by name/handle for some reason, only through his profile page. All his posts seem to be just "welcome" to new members, nothing else... ?

There are guys that do that just to pad their post count.

Mostly it's innocent but I think sometimes it's to build trust so they can sell or scam. You might not buy from someone with one or two postings, but you might not think twice about buying from someone with a higher post count.

I just posted and then noted this thread. The last three posts to this thread (2 members) are obviously scammers building their post count. I report when I see, but for some unknown reason, they are still here.

And I checked his IP address and couldn't view it. A blocked IP is suspicious.
