What a great thread. Im slowly working my way through the wonderful old photos and really seeing that snapshot in time where things were a lot simpler and uncluttered than they are now.
I am particularly drawn to the photos of Seaside in Oregon. I visited that area as part of my Honeymoon roadtrip in 1997 and really enjoyed it.

HERMOSA BEACH 1965 - Looking towards the Hermosa Biltmore Hotel from a home on Monterey Blvd. off of Pier Ave. The landmark hotel stood on the Strand between 14th and 15th St. from 1930 until the building was razed in 1969
