Is it just me, or does this 1956 Packard Predictor Concept car with "T-tops" (they called them retractable roof panels that operated to make it easier to enter/exit).
Looks like at one time, Packard had an autoshown mule was running around.
Recall about this time handwriting was on the wall for Packard. Maybe they were serious about trying something rad?
Apparently so. Sad tho. They didnt have the cabbage to tool it up. Packard was truly a great company at one time.
1956 MY was the last true Packard (they merged with Studebaker om 1954, by then another "dead man walking" - combine two failing companies into what was then fourth largest but still failing US car company
