now that my adult children (plus two grand kiddies) live there, I'vevlearned California has really cool beaches. if one likes that.

dont dig the beach? CA has all kinda climates/topography nearby. trees, snow, boiling deserts, hiking etc...

anyway, i had heard of Zuma Beach before but never been. planning something in fall when i visit.

my kids like it. broad, flat, accessible, suitable water depth for toddlers (supervised of course).
