Well I received my solid state regulator for my 68 300 the other day. Installed it today and gave test run, voltage ran up to 14.9 and went no higher. Let it run about 25 mins. I am happy with that. Oil pressure at start up, 70 lbs, idles 28-30. Going to put sending unit back in now. Sending out my power steering pump to have it rebuilt. Still have to bleed brakes and do something with fuel tank. Been running it via a 2 gal can, 91 no ethanol! Motor runs great! I still have my lighting issue, that will be a spring project. Maybe I can get registered and on the road by spring 2025. Thanks for All the help

Great work!
That 2-gallon can would drive me crazy. Fuel tank would be the next thing on my agenda. $300 solution. No cleaning required.
