wagon goes under the knife

you know i thought that logging on to this site would be a cool experience. not so sure. i think some on this site need to give there heads a good shake.
Chill, dude!
Around here, we don't curtsy and tip our fedora when meeting new people. We're a bunch of great guys that enjoy sitting around the pot belly stove sipping a little Jack Danials. We do a lot of good natured ribbing and an occassional poke in the ribs here. Consider this place a bar room where we gather to mumble, grumble, laugh, and go home and pet the dog.
Right now I AM shaking my head but for other reasons. OK????

By the way - did you even see the big grin on the smiley face at the end of my HUMOROUS comment???
I intentionally added that so as to make sure you you wouldn't get your panties up in a knot

We are all pretty good people here, some of us are just a bit more sarcastic than others.

I'm certain the drama is for humor and not to bust your chops.

I have definetely gone over the top in responses to some posts here, but I think I'm mellowing a bit as I get to know everyone a little better.

BTW... Cool car.
k guys had a rough day yesterday. i'm chillin now. :sixpack:

Ya need to serve non alcoholic beverages for those of us who do not drink. Soda please.:icon_tongue:

That wagon got to be a 1of1 or something stupid like that. Holy crap!!!
hi guys. I couldn't be happier right now. I found the original broadcast sheet for my wagon tucked behind the back seat springs. this is really cool. its in good condition and legible. removed it very carefully and now have it in between my service manuals flattening out. I am so happy I:VB toast: could allmost take my wife out for dinner. lol

Congrats, that is a kool car and so is the original wagon that started this thread before it got hi-jacked!

the wagon came home today the car looks great. Bill the bodyman is a real craftsman i cannot say enough of how good the car looks.both qtrs had rust cutout and metal replaced, spare tire well rebuilt, couple small hole in rockers cut out and new metal welded in. attached are pics

Very nice! That is one sweet wagon!

He did a great job on those quarters and spare tire well. Congrats on having your car back whole again...without the rust monster lurking beneith.

You mentioned you have the rear window washer system...my 68 T/C wagon has it too. Have not seen one on a lower model Plymouth before...very cool!!

Can you post a pic of your tailgate too?

thanks for the coments. i need to take some updated pics. i replaced front bumper with a rechromed one that looks great. i am installing a grant repo wood steering wheel this weekend . my brother in law and i tried to on memorial day but they sent me the wrong adapter i got the new one yesterday. i also found the build sheet under the back seat and it lists the wiper system on it so its original to the car. its not presantly working as the previous owner took off the fluid tank which i have but not sure if the pump works.

i just bought a NOS center wiper blade for it also.

well here is as promised pics.took wagon to local chic-filet car cruise tonite and snapped a couple pics. car was a little dirty but did not have time to wash

Beautiful wagon! Body work looks very good. What's next on the list for you?

i bought a set of headlight bezals a freind is removing a couple dents and polishing them have to take the screen below grille off and take to bodyshop to be painted. want to get rear side windows retinted as the tint is turning purple and peeling looks awful.

also bought a vintage fm converter to install want to keep car as original as possible but do subtle upgrades. have new repo tuff wooden steering wheel to install. want to redo cargo area in matching carpet.

got to do some truoble shooting and get the power door locks working .i bought a NOS relay hoping that was the problem but no go. wife and i are going to Pigeon Forge,Tn for the grand rod run in sept so i got some time to get all this done . air needs a compressor seal then got to find someone to charge the system as it barely blows cold now.

This is gonna bother me me forever and a day.
It would drive me nuts to be driving around and staring at that every second.
Kinda like the mole on Cindy Crawford. If only...

actully it dosent fit very well the way i took the picture but if you take the bezal off and turn it to the left 90 degrees it fits perfect and lays flat. i need to find another bezal and to be honest it drives me crazy too.

Thanks for the pics...Same location for the rear washer as my T/C. My "rear washer" switch is a but different though.

I really have to find the time to get into the tailgate and make it all work. My washer bottle is toasted, and the wiper blades are hard as rocks. Would be very cool to have it all working properly...One day.
