I recently bought a 69 Plymouth Fury Convertible that needs restoration. I have been wrenching for quite a while, but have never owned a project like this will be. I have always liked Mopar, and look forward to getting the car on the road. It needs just about everything, and I have much to learn, so step 1 for me getting this done was joining this forum.

Step 2, if that rust is extensive find a parts car because there isn't reproduction sheet metal.

Thanks for the welcome. I have found a few places online that sell some of the sheet metal. It mainly needs rear quarters, a trunk lid, floor pan patches, trunk patches. It looks like most of these exist for sale online... although the C body appears to have less parts. I will likely be able to repair the minimal rust on the fenders, and rockers. We will see what else I run into whenever I get the time to get to work on it.

Welcome, A service manual and parts manual will come in handy. You can find the parts
manual online at MyMopar - Mopar Forums & Information - Parts & Accessories Books

Service manuals are reprinted or you can find originals on ebay. The reprints are nice and several offer them, just search Chrysler Plymouth Service Manual.
