In to Mopars with my dad, because of my dad. Just a couple guys with a few old cars. Nothing worth much monetary value but each one means something to us.

I was posting in another forum and shared some pics and it was suggested I share here as well. We’ve added a couple C bodies in the last few years even though we typically stick to the A bodies. The first is a 66 4dr Newport 383/727.

She’s a little rough around the edges and missing some lettering but it’s runs and drives great! The kids love it!!

Sorry for the double pic... Some may know the next car and it will definitely not be for everyone but we ran across “BIG” built in 03 by Steve Strope last year. It still had the same rear tires on from 03! We bought it from the gentleman that bought it from Mr. Strope in 05. He’s had it all these years but its not seen many miles... We are changing that! Drove it close to 2.5hrs home after being told it’s never been on a very long trip. It’s a blast!

Welcome. sweet Newport love the interior..

Thanks! The interior is one part of the old car that’s pretty much all there. Parts are showing some age but everything works as it should. My oldest says this will be her first big car...

Picked them all up from school one day last week and went for supper.

Crazy bunch... This is how it usually winds up after a little trip!!

Not sure if it’s the comfy ride combined with the low rumble or the fumes that gets them!?!

Temporary indeed!! Then the madness starts all over... Seems to be worth it to this point so I can only imagine as the years pass how much more joy will come from fighting this fight!

Welcome from the Keystone State. You've got the next generation of gear heads there with you.

Thanks! The girls seem to like the cars pretty good but this little guy is all about it so far. I’m trying to make sure and take the time to keep him included as much as possible even if it slows things way down most of the time. Looking back I think that’s why I love messing with them all. Dad just always let me “help” even though it had to be slowing him down...

You gotta let them do what they can. He was four at the time.
