That's interesting !!! my other 69 Sport Fury Vert that I had the tag was fastened with screws and not rivets as was the 70 Sport Fury Coupe. I need to find my 69 tag to see what the numbers indicate !!! it's buried in my storage trailer with everything else from the other car.

Next weekend if all goes well, I am planning to have it picked up Wednesday but need to confirm it with Bill. Then I figure 3 days to get here if all goes well. Today I need to finish cleaning out the garage !!! and rearrange my plows .... :eek:ccasion14:

yes, I do, I took a bunch of it when I saw it in sweden at the power meet.
I will have to search them out and load them up

Carsten

Carsten that would be great to see, I will also PM you my e-mail so maybe you can send me a copy directly. :eek:ccasion14:

Thank you

Paul

first of all:

Congratulations !
Here is its siter, living in sweden. 100% the same options/colours. Built the same day (1st of august, officially the first production day)

Carsten

That is cool to see two cars so close. I know where a Barracuda that was built the same day as mine two units ahead, also sold at the same dealer.

Mine has the skirts and the color may have been changed to a lighter blue !! or maybe it's the difference in sunlight. But the factory Tachometer is a nice rare treat !!!

Very cool car. Congratulations and looking forward to seeing it redone! If you are planning on different wheels, please look me up as I would be interested in your wheels.

If I do I will look you up and give you first shot, However there are only a few rims that I would consider using other than the ones that are on her now and that would be the Dodge Mirada wheels or the Kelsey Hayes wire spoke wheels with raised white letter tires.

From a purest point of view the correct road wheels on a 69 would be the factory "recalled" road wheels, which are being reproduced.
Beyond them the 70 and later road wheels best accent the C body style. (IMHO).
RWL tires were not used on 69's and really don't do much for a big C body convertible.

It's easy to look at a wheel/tire combination and say "Thats nice" without concidering the overall effect on a paticular car. Not all wheel/tire combos will complement all cars and should "flow" with the overall style instead of being a focal point.

Good example is the wheels on your car now .... While very nice they just arn't right for the car.
She needs factory road wheels and white walls to perserve the look she was designed to have ...... (AJMHO)
Just think about it.
