WHAT ? Another 61 Fury restroation......

I have a full set of original 61 wheels but one is really rough. Looks like it sat in the dirt for a long time and is rusted beyond fixing.
Any body here have one they can part with? It will get a good home...LOL.
14 x 5 "K". My codes , (around the valve stem hole), are 5 and 0, but that's not important.
Here's what it looks like,

What is the gear ratio in your diff?

2:92 open Bob. I swapped a 68 New Port axle assembly in place of the original tapered hub axle. Only 5/8th of an inch wider then the original so it bolted right in. Same ratio as the original. I gained much larger brakes, better part availablity and easier serviceability.

Very cool. Plus that axle is a lot easier to work on and parts are plentiful.

No Ken. According to the IBM card I obtained from Chrysler historical it was delivered new to a dealership in Dayton Ohio. Cantrell & Guy, inc. No longer in business. The history from then to when I obtained the car is lost. Virgil has only traveled 44500 miles. Not worn out but put away wet.

The past four days was spent organizing, cleaning, repairing various parts for Virgil. The wiring harness are all cleaned and repaired as needed, Wheels refinished and tires mounted. I got a firewall pad from QQE. Looks great but for the price I would have liked to see the six retainer pins included. No problem, DMT has them on the way. Four days of work and not much to show, but next time back the assembly will go a lot smoother. Focus now is to assemble everything on both sides of the firewall.

Yeah Rip, Goldie's a little stiff, but she's easy.

Long ago we put this same tri power set up on my buddies fathers 62 Dart. It worked great until his dad found out.
