What are you doing for Christmas???

Got up about 6:30 to make cinnamon rolls, I try to do something special for Christmas morning each year. My oldest joined me a few minutes ago, Olivia 7. She is patiently waiting by reading a book on the couch.

When the read are awake we will read the Christmas story from the Bible enjoy the cinnamon rolls and head to Grammies before lunch.

I hope that you all have a blessed day.

The charger and your Imp are the only cars in that pic that dont look Retarded.

I appreciate the compliment, but there is some serious quality restored cars and trucks, along with hot rods and race cars in the link. That is what's fun about my friend's Christmas Eve GTG is that you are not looking at 15 E-bodies that all have the same thing going about them.

BTW, my wife wanted to do something different for Christmas dinner, and went with a frozen lasagna. Let's just say that she is making turkey and what we were originally having, tomorrow!

Borrowed this pic off the webpage of one of the guys that was at the function I went to today, since it shows the Imperial quite well...thanks to Martin.

Really the merc and the Camaro and no mention of the yellow Chevy 4×4 one of the best pick ups ever made.

We've maintained the Austrian tradition of doing the main Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve. This year the girls came over and we went to visit grandma at the nursing home then returned here for a big spread of mostly German and Austrian deli goodies. Then it was time to gather around the tree to open presents. The girls are 32 and 29 and both were as giddy with anticipation as when they were little kids. Best time of the year.

Your kidding........... right......?

No I would take one of those any day easy, cheap, disposable.

Sorry Dave... I am just not a 4X4 guy. No hate, I have never owned one and don't know if I ever will. My RWD winter beaters always made it to MT Washington when I lived there. In fact the only time I ever missed work was a blizzard and the POS Nissan I was driving floated on the deep snow when I tried.

I owned a few of that generation chevy truck and liked them just fine. They used to more plentiful than vw beetles... I think the beetles are winning and they aren't so common either. I looked for one a few years ago with your same thoughts in mind, there are few cheap ones that are really ragged out or they think they are collectible...which they are. I settled on a 98 for the beater truck I wanted, I'm not into it for much and if I don't want to sell it when I'm done I can use it for parts for the 99 suburban I use daily.

Maybe its more a regional thing and you still have a good supply, but I hardly even see them in the local junkyards anymore.

I don't particularly like the lowered S10 thing so much or I would have mentioned it...
