What are you working on today??

Took the Imperial out to Edgewater Park (large lakeside park in Albert Lea) for her glamour shots. Feel like I took way more than need be, got whittle it to five.
Now I've just need to decide if I'm actually going to send them in with the application. All for the chance to be apart of the Chrysler 100 display at Canterbury Park in September.

Tried replacing the filter for the well water (use it in the garden and shop). Had trouble getting the filter housing removed, and broke a piece of pvc pipe. Yay!
I added two couplings as everything was hard lined in.

Also hurriedly put things back together and one of the fittings came loose.

I got sprayed twice! Double yay!

Got it all together and am soaking the filter housing in vinegar as it had a magnificent coating of rust on the insides.

I say do it, doesn’t hurt unless you try. Who knows, you might get lucky. The car looks more than deserving! Let us know what you decide

Blocking off guide coat.

96 degrees F ambient, but 105 degrees F at the car due to the concrete and metal around. At least it dries fast.

Bike left me stranded a few days ago, tested the starter, and took the battery out to charge it. Naturally while the bike is down I decided to go further and put the exhaust off and get it ready for the new pipes. The stock exhaust is massive on these VL1500 Intruders. Also removed the PAIRS equipment, it's an emissions system that will cause popping with aftermarket pipes, and typically reduces MPG, so it's going.
I need to test the starter solenoid still, and test and adjust the decompression system, but, I've run out of time today.
I'm very close to pulling the rest of the tins and painting them, but if I start that it'll never get back together for the season so I'll do that this winter.

This is my first Suzuki and I did not know the tank was under the seat. Makes painting the tins a lot easier, lol.
