I rebuilt the original carburetor and put it back on the motor, replacing the Edelbrock carb the previous owner installed. Thankful he saved the original one. Car sure starts and Runs better with the original carburetor. 1967 Sport Fury, 440, 4 speed. Patiently waiting for spring time so I can drive it.

should run nice, I'm wondering if that's the best place for your ECU with the heat from the exhaust manifold. just my $.02

Sometimes the small stuff feels like a big win. A while back I found out my hood ornament was busted and actually rtv'ed in place... The emblem itself wasn't in bad shape apart from the broken eyelet. Buddy of mine who does the welding for me didn't think that would work. So I tried something. Drilled the center and cut in some thread. That metal is crazy soft. Coated the small stainless eye bolt in some epoxy to secure it and it's good to go.

Took Ginger in on Thursday for some new exhaust, went with 2 1/2 and stainless Magnaflow. She sounds real nice, my guys did a great job..

Well I'm pissed. Got a call from my dad and apparently the fuel tank on my Imperial has sprung a leak... Told him to just drain it for now and I'd look into it next time I'm out there. Upside from having an electrical fuel pump is that draining is incredibly easy.
Really hoping I can patch it, a new tank through rockauto would be a 700 dollar hit I'd rather avoid. Damn trans Atlantic shipping.

Pulled my dash, for other reasons, and all the vents. Found a chrome pen on Amazon. That works fantastic. Very easy to use and trimmed all of the edges of the vents. Unless you knew what you were looking at! you’d never that what you were looking at wasn’t OE.

The tip on the pen is very precise. So there was no masking off or major preparation, just cleaned real well and the edge of the pan made those clean lines. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on exterior lenses. Can’t speak for How it would fair in the outside weather, I guess you’ll just have to let us know. Lol.

Those pens aren't cheap. But, damn they're good. Bout 20 bucks at Hobby Lobby. Internet priced nearly the same.

The pens come in 1, 2 and 4mm widths and are $8.49 each here at Hobby Lobby in Sioux Falls, SD.
I picked up a 2mm version and will try it out tomorrow.
BTW, my experience is that while this alcohol ink is great it does easily dull if you touch it. Coating it with normal clear paints also dulls it. The 2 clears that have worked for me (and others on the net) are these. The first one is a lacquer and the second is water soluble. I think the point is that the solvent used does is not compatible with the chrome solvent. I'm going to try to airbrush this stuff. Videos show very good results. May try a random water soluble poly over it also.

Just did the other vents.. first coat turned out very well, yet to see how long it’ll lasts once done . We’ll see.

Got 'The Call" from Woodruff Carb
The AFB is on the way for the Party Barge.
With a fresh rebuild on the motor, new bushings up front (Mobileparts) and the rebuilt steering box from Steer&Gear, the 'barge' should be good to go...

My Chrysler needed a little attention to pass the two-year technical inspection. Nothing dramatic, just a sway-bar rubber and an exhaust bracket.
On the occasion of the lift, I did an oil change (of course with a filter).
After passing the check yesterday, there was still a little cleaning work today. The white vinyl interior needed it badly...

Finished up the interior lighting upgrade to LEDs and I'm glad the dash is all back together. Have to wait and see how it's going to look at night but in liking it already!
And thanks to @wypowerwagon440 I now have a glove box! Painted it black to "match" the rest but then of course had to also paint the lower dash cover or it would've stood out too much.
