What terminals are used on the female connector on the back of instrument gauges?

The female terminals for these particular pins, what are they called and what size are they? They're definitely not bullet terminals. Would they be molex pins/terminals like what was used in older computers?

Sorry I should've said that I know what they look like, but I'm just trying to find the actual name of the terminals themselves because I want to crimp some new wiring in. I blame 3 AM me for not mentioning that in the first place.

That's a tough one. I looked at a couple of places and don't see anything. If anyone would have something, I would expect it to be Rhode Island Wiring, and nothing there.

I'd say you have to try to salvage the old connectors if possible.

I see you've posted in this thread, so you are aware of it.
Instrument Cluster Repair In it, @traintech55 uses 2-56 screws as a replacement and they are .086" in diameter. It might be worth measuring the original pins and I'll bet they are a standard (Imperial) fractional size, because that's how they worked.

If they are 3/32" (.093) you could use 1/8" OD- 3/32" ID brass tube from a hobby shop and make your own. If smaller, slit the side and squeeze them a little.

It still may be easier to salvage the old ones.

Oh boy. Yeah I do recall having to slightly squeeze the factory terminals to get them to fit snugly over the screws when I did my pin repair. Kinda surprised that the terminals are unavailable considering there's that guy who's name has escaped me, that had the bench pressing tool thingy to install fresh ones, I figured if he was able to get those pins new, then the female ends would be available too.
I might just try to splice from a spade terminal that's hopefully on the other end of the wire though. Currently trying to find where the auto reverse light switch feed is so I can retrofit a hazard light switch from a VW beetle, and I need to prevent the reverse lights from overriding the hazards when they're active.

I suspect the old female connector on those 65-66 instrument clusters is made of Bakelight. See if you can find one in a junker or on eBay. (I suspect junkers might not abound in your neighborhood.) You might look at using some of the little pink 18-22 AWG crimp connectors to slip over those pins as a LAST resort. I can do it, but would certainly search High and Low for that damned connector first. Good luck!

Oh it's not that round bakelite/plastic thingy that's the problem, it's the actual terminals crimped to each wire themselves that I need new ones of as I'm trying to wire up a hazard light switch (Big John probably knows exactly what I'm trying to do hehe).
I think I'm just going to add new wires from the other end of these wires as they're likely just regular spade connectors.

I like your approach. Try it. If they're 1/4" spades, they'll be easy enough. I've sure as **** used those in plenty on my C body rides! EZPZ!

Yea, it's probably easier to splice in at the other connectors. Thinking about it, those circuit boards are a bit fragile there, so hanging the weight of more wires might not be great anyway, but I might be overthinking that.

Damn, can't update the OP. Thanks to a thread at the A bodies only forum, Seems like TE Connectivity/AMP 41854 or Molex 02091104 terminals will work. The AMP terminal seems to fit better in the round cylinder thingy though.
