I noticed that my '73 Fury has "Strato Vent" on its climate control module, and I didn't think much of it until I noticed that "Strato Ventilation" was an option in the brochure. What did you get without "Strato ventilation" versus with it? Is that in reference to the fresh air vents whose controls are located beneath the steering column (with the vents themselves in the front kick panels)? I just assumed that would be standard when you didn't get A/C.

I think it's the vents on the dash that allow fresh air when you have the vent open

The "Strato Vent" controller has a "VENT" setting before the "OFF HEAT DEF" settings, so would that just run the fan but without engaging the heat settings? It's a bit odd because that would be all but useless compared to the rather significant rush of air that comes from the kick-panel vents (controlled by the under-steering-wheel knobs).
