What's it worth?

Happy Christmas LincsMoparMik.

I will be moving to Boston in the New Year to be with my fellow Moparmen there.
I've lived in London since the 50's and seen lots of changes indeed.

Its was hard driving my Mopars in the 80's and 90's tin London town and gave up myself.
People would block the road in front of you and get out waving their fists and obscenities!

Hate to think what its like now, and Polara David said driving a 512ci Mopar at 20mph was a mare!
Yes he could take the Polara to Yorkshire but has grown out of that scene himself.

On the subject of Dave Billadeau a top bloke indeed, but we are more than capable of building engines and trans in Kent too lol.
I just scrolled his site and its mind-blowing stuff indeed, he sure has done well for himself this century.

Your quite right I dont like to drive in London either, wouldn’t like to live there either I do go frequently in the works Vito and always glad to see the M1 North after suffering the M25 usually.
I am from Yorkshire only recently moving to Lincolnshire.
London has brought its problems on itself you would have thought that they would have had enough of ayatollah Sadiq after the first five years but they went and voted him in again!! Although when you drive through London it’s no real surprise - not sure if there many real Londoners still there.
Merry Christmas!

Hamtramck is the same way.

Merry Christmas to all in Moparland where ever that may be!
London has become it's own worse enemy, full of car haters... :mob:

So sensible folks will vacate the 'smoke' and reside in beautiful Lincolnshire.
Open straight rods with no speed camera's, speed bumps and '6 foot 6 inch' width restrictors!!!

Some too narrow even for an A-body let alone a C-body:rofl:

What is the idea behind the 6'6" rule? Is it for old Roman roads? The oil pan wrecker speed bump or sleeping policeman is designed to keep the Low Rider crowd out of town?

All sleeping poilcemen do is catch out normal folks, whereas the 4 x 4 cars fly over then at crazy speeds!

They are called Chelsea tractors and all the rich Mum's take there children to school in one.

Most of us in the 60's a 70's got the bus to school and were never chaperoned like todays kids.

Back to the topic of ''What's it Worth''?

I texted Polara David and asked him to give me a price, but no reply.

I will wait till after Christams and offer maybe £8000 which is around $10,000.

Merry Christmas one one and ALL.

Five hundred and twelve cubic inches of Mopars finest!

School bus? I walked until high school and then had to take the city bus to school. Had to pay a quarter each way too.

Here's a major difference in school bus versus city bus besides cost. If you screwed around on the city bus, they'd pull over and kick you out and it didn't matter where you were. I rode through some really bad sections of the city, and it was a long walk, so we behaved ourselves (mostly)

The little darlings won't walk and getting on a Bus is alien to most kids these days!
( I was born in Chelsea and visited the Chelsea cruise many times)

The Chelsea truck Company, how times have changed indeed... :mob:
