You have a problem with that? It sounded good................things could have been worse, it could have had 24's on it

Sounded Good?! Anything will sound "good" with a couple of cherry bombs bolted to it. If you follow alOng the story the car was found next to a barn. They proceed to resurrect it only to jack the car 6 feet up in the rear...
which does not particulary do anything for handling. They should leave that crap to the Chevie guys. Anyways just venting .. hate to see a restorable fuselage car end up this way.

Sheesh, that's at least two of you now that I know of. No sense in going to Carlisle, then....

No, No, No...........Stan!!!!! You got to come to Carlisle. Carlisle transforms everybody into normal, mellow, nonconfrontational, cool, classic Chrysler guys! Believe me.......you'll be an annual participant after going this year.

Could have made it a derby car or carved out the engine for an A-body....

And i don't see you making any comments on this guys video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09NraDI-ekQ&feature=related Perhaps you should leave a comment under his video to save it for Chevys too.

Personally, I give the guy credit for taking on a car that needs that much work, especially a C-body. Most people would have just thrown it away. That's what our hobby is all about though, right? I mean, you take a car that most normal people would just throw away and you bring it back to life. :laughing4:He's done quite a bit of work already. It needs a lot more work than my car does so it's kind of inspiring,to me anyway. Myself,I wouldn't have lifted the rear that high but,a little bit of lift at the rear can look good with the right tires. The pipes could be about 4 inches shorter too IMO. After watching that I feel like I want to go for a cruise. LOL. Anyway, I hope he finishes it.:)

Another C-body that isn't done exactly the way I would have done it but, at least it's been done, and to me that's the main thing. I mean, I'm just happy :yaayy:whenever I see someone fixing up a C-body even if their tastes are different from mine. Besides, wheels are easy to remove if you don't like them. We need more of these cars on the road. If the aftermarket notices that there is an interest in C-bodies they may finally start repopping some parts for them.:)

I was poking at the people that have their panties in a bunch about this car.

oK here's a comment for you. The car itself is extremely nice, I would take it in a second if it were offered to me. However, those wheels make it look like a fugitive from a Saturday morning cartoon. Why someone would go thru all that expense to resurrect such a car and then put ridiculous looking rims on it I'll never know. Its a crime to destroy the essence of a car such as a 69' Chrysler 300 by jacking its *** up in the air like some clapped out chevell with a tired 350 in it. Nevertheless........ I also recognize it's the owners absolute right to look any way he pleases and lo be me to try and take that away. Furthermore I can and will make any comment I choose...this IS forum, remember....and if you think I'm harsh then you haven't been around here that long. I also totally recognize its a 2 way street. I've taken plenty of flack in the past, and some of it actually changed my mind and how I see my car.....and in fact help me fix a few things. The Chevie connection: I HATE chevie with a passion. Why, b/c I believe chevie gets WAAAY to much undo recognition. The heartbeat of America my a__. but I hold no grudges against anyone who loves that marque, I understand the feeling completely...so its not personal, unless they make it so.

There's your commentary.

I don't know about you but I don't wear them. Again this is a forum....where ideas and comments are discussed, whether they are exceptable to you or not. I did not know someone got hired as the forum police.

So the rear is jacked to the moon, they'll tire of it and put it on Craigslist, ***** about it then.

Gotta leave some for you....You can drink with my Dad and wife, she likes the R & C's , Dad ? He's a beer guy but has been known to do a shot or two.

I applaud the guy for bring that car back. And the look he's sporting reminds me off mopars from the 80's...how quickly we all forget the long shackles, traction bars, air shocks, cranked down torsion bars...etc. It's a look that may not currently be in vogue...but I like it cause of the memories it evokes.
