I didn't know Willie Mays sold Mary Kay. I would've thought his MLB pension would be enough.

Too bad it's not mauve.

There's a very low mileage Hemi Charger survivor in this hue and I like it a lot. Would be one of the colors of choice if I had the opputunity to order such a car. Have to admit though, IIRC first owner was a woman.

Even though it's a nice low mile Imp with great provenance....I don't think it's going to sell unless a baseball memorabilia person or a museum has interest in this car.

I do. What did it sell for then.

Can't see it selling again unless some idiot just takes his word for it rather than asking for definitive proof it belonged to Mays.

I did the research and found out it did belong to Willie Mays. Willie Mays Hayes that is.

My father inlaw stored that car for the old lady, Cora from 1967 till the early 90's and never received any compensation.

My buddy Myron owns the other one here in Jersey. Anyone know the whereabouts of the car pictured? Sold at auction (maybe 2 years ago?) for around 190,000. No sign of it since.

I read a couple of articles about the background of that car. She got F****D. Made my blood boil. When it was up for sale, I wanted to inspect it and then leave after leaving nice key grooves on every body panel. The bastard. :soapbox:
