Carmine, i agree. The week or two before are the better nights to cruise.
For out-of-towners bringing their car i'd suggest parking it early cruise day and just walk it. By 10:00 am it's a bumper to bumper crawl. My GTO tended to overheat sitting in traffic.
A few restaurants charge a parking fee for an all day reserved spot with in/out privileges. I used to park at the Vinsetta Grille around 11 mile rd. Hoofed it up to 14 mile and back. The buses also run up and down Woodward all day long.
