Fellas, I need one of the chrome toggle switches for a 6 way power seat in a '69 300. The switch I'm looking for is one of the end ones (tilt) not the center switch. Whole switch units are tough to find but occasionally one turns up with the center toggle broken, harness butchered, one or two non functioning (you get the picture) which would suit me just fine

Thanks,
Pete.

I have one of the end units. Being as I just got done spending $750 for all new power seat switches (including the chrome mounting bezel for one side), my price to you for this switch is Six Dollars, which should cover shipping on my end. The other little crappy bits in the foreground I'll keep until someone else needs something.

The only thing I ask is that if you don't need the backing circuit board for your fix, please pass it along to the next poor bastid who needs a part or two. My hope is that members let the little stuff slide between ourselves. That way, eventually someone will give me a Killer 572 once I get to the top of the food chain!

Incidentally, I ended up with uglyish black plastic toggles for both sides. But can't complain...the seats work superbly now after I went through the gearboxes, pivots, clevis pins, slides, and the cable drives.

Actually, I'm sending you the crappy broken bits, too. Might as well keep them all in one place!

The "rust" on the chrome switch is actually very old dust that stuck to whatever contact lube was from 48 years ago. That rust is gone now, the toggle gleams like (plastic) chrome. Incidentally, this was from the passenger side of my 70 300, and was working when I removed it a few months ago.

Trace is the man. :thumbsup:

I don't know about that, fellas......I just figger that nobody here can fund their retirement or their kid's college eddycation by gouging each other (think about that for a minute!) for simple stuff like this switch. I don't have a garage full of parts, since I'm new to C-Bods and I've been out of the hobby since 1999 [65 Barracuda, 71 Cuda, 68 Dart, 68 RR, and 71 Fury in my past], but this switch wasn't needed by me, so giving it to someone who needed it seemed right.

In other words....happy to help.

Or maybe I should have asked for $75! :bs_flag:

Well done :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

UPDATE: Thanks to the efforts of Trace 300 Hurst, the matter of the non-functional power seat has been resolved. :thankyou:
