You Jersey guys must know this place.

speaking as a "near" piney status myself, I never been there. Kearny is way up in North Jersey which might as well be NYC southern annex. Nothing but Exxon/Mobile oil refineries and soprano types driving Cadillac Escalades for as far as the eye can see.

You'd be more farmer than piney

1957 thru 1961 was a really special era in automotive design/art...... I doubt anything like that will ever happen again...

Yeah, "bullet" like running lamps, "bombette" in the front......think they were trying to get space borne, lol.

They were. Think October 1957 and what it set into motion right up to JFK on May 25, 1961. It was all the rage and I clearly remember it laying down in the backyard with binoculars at 10 PM. Much tended to revolve around space and rockets both good and bad. The good: travel to space. The bad: take cover exercises in school under the desks.

What a great time to be able to look back on.

What a great time to have been there.
I grew up in a 2 family. The tenants upstairs bought one of those.
Can you imagine what one of those did to a 9 year old's brain.
All the pot from 10 years later didn't even come close.

Unfortunately.......I had no interest in those cars when I was a youngster. B-Bodies was my thing.

Fred: Ever drink this?
It's the only beer that will pass my lips.

Worst design of the 50s still surpasses the best of today, and these 58 Buick Limited models are among the weakest IMHO, 58 GM in general, that's the end of Earl's tenure when he lost touch after 30 years of being practically fail safe.
