His asking price seems to be unrealistic.

NADA is a used car guide and pretty useless when it comes to collector cars.

The Collector Car market review, which seems to be more in touch with current market trends then most, places value of a #1 at $13,350.00....
I'd say add 25% for this original.

The bottom line here is that the guy wants absolutly top dollar for the car and I'm betting he may be cajoled into dropping a couple of grand but no more. He'll go the auction route first
