More seat pics, and 2 gals of EF8 color!

Getting the Seats re-done, all custom made new covers, old ones removed and new material ordered and the shop is making my seats new again! I blasted the seat frames, epoxied 'em and got the build sheet recovered safely too!

Got the Doors in Epoxy. Started working the dents out of 'em, amazing put some heat on the skin and watch the skin rise up and go back to where it was before being hit and stretched. Weld-on studs for the puller works great, shrinking the skin also works great, and the Epoxy is tightly bound...

Pulled the Doors off, and gutted them, down to the shell! Wow, what a PITA to gut these down. Bagged and Tagged everything, and didn't break the glass at all, only broke two bolt/screws in the process. Pics coming. The shells will be media blasted, epoxy primed, and off to the painter who...

I know! Ain't is cool? A lot of color goes in to make the F8! I yanked the Doors today, man, gutting them is a chore! I got one of 4 done, shells will be blasted and in Epoxy and over to paint, then the entire car after I blast the jams on the car, and fix last of the rust on a few places...

Finally! Getting the car and it's parts into new EF8! First batch getting mixed up now!

Well, the Hood and Fenders I did a bit of trading with a guy who does moonlighting out of his garage, he works for musclerodshop during the day and Volvo's at night...yeah, interesting! Well, I blasted a bunch of his Volvo stuff, he Blocked and Sanded my Fenders and Hood, not all the way mind...

Cool, hope you can get this car back into shape! My 300 also has the Console/Bucket seats, a definite rare option.

I'm wondering if some B Body stuff can be modified to 'fit'. I'm going to need a trunk pan for my 300.

The painted wants the Fenders in Etch primer, on one Fender the inner portion I epoxied. The actual Inner Fenders I also epoxy primed (the gray color is Epoxy). One of the pics you'll see a Hood, that's this car's Hood.

Ok, got the timing issues sorted out, and the carb off and cleaned up, car fires up instantly, every time. Got the left bank exhaust pipe system made and installed and the bad muffler issue sorted, so, it sounds absolutely fabulous, and stock! Got the donor Hood off, and the two replacement...

My 70 300 has factory Bucket seats and console, and my grandfather bought it brand new, still got the window sticker and build sheet. Check my thread out for the skinny on it.

My 300 Bucket Seats are going in to this shop I mentioned in my post in January, total rebuild, new foam, and new custom made replica seat covers.

Stop. No need to get foam like this, just find a good Upholstery Shop, they can custom make Foam for your application and cut to fit, even fit YOU and your size and shape. Contact classiccustomupholstery.com they're next door to me, and I've been next to them since 2006, and they are top notch!

I did this conversion on my 300, and, found they ride at a slightly different height, and, I've had to crank up the Torsion Bars a bit more than earlier, at least this is a working theory. A variable also could be that I have heavier duty rear leaf springs with one additional leaf in the...
