1966 Chrysler Newport. Family owned since date of purchase. All original. 130k miles. 383 2bbl, factory A/C. Thinking very seriously about putting it up for sale in order to fund another project. I have no idea what it`s worth.

If you driving up or down I-5 in California, you must stop at the new Bravo Farms in Kettleman City. Located where I-5 and Highway 41 intersect. The food is outstanding!!!

That gives me an idea. I will be storing all my cleaning supplies and tools in the suitcases.

When we show the 66 Newport, I place some 60`s luggage in the trunk. People love it. Two weeks ago at a show a gentleman came up to me and said "the only thing missing in your trunk is a hair dryer" he then says "I`ll be right back". About 10 minutes goes by and he shows up with an old hair...

I will root for any team that plays against the Dodgers. Last night`s Brian Wilson meltdown was epic. He has not looked that bad since he was blowing it in the 9th inning for the Giants. OH.........Diehard San Francisco Giants fan here!!!!

Great cruise night last night. Local police having a field day writing tickets to all the cars and trucks playing with thier air bag suspensions while driving down the road. On a sad note. There is a "C" body here with 26" rims. Some people like it, just not me.

157 miles. You have to go over one small mountain range. Coming home as soon as you get to the top of the range you have an incredible view of the San Joaquin Valley. And you can also see and feel the heat.....LOL

Leaving for the show. It will be 104 here in the valley this weekend and only 66 at the coast. Looking forward to the cooler weather and even cooler cars!!

Thanks for the comments on the car. It is a survivor. Garaged all it`s life. Pismo Beach is in between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, right in the heart of the Central California Coast. They are expecting over 1000 entries this weekend. Look it up on the web. It is a great show.

Going to enter my 1966 Newport in it`s first car show this weekend. It is bone stock other than having the seat re-done in 1989. Hope we get a few votes!!
