"Since the 707 hp supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 is hard to come by, he was able to sell the motor before the car was even delivered, so you’re already too late for that, but he does have a nice set of bucket seats that don’t appear to have been stained in the accident."

I think all the automakers should send all the buyers of these machines to a racing driving school before they can take delivery.

Like handing a loaded M1 Garand to a person who has only ever shot a pump action bb gun.

I would like to see video of these guys destroying these cars....

Let's see......Rule #1, make sure Hellcat is aimed straight down the road with the steering wheel centered before nailing it WOT.

That damage doesn't look like the car was moving too fast. Note that there are a lot of dents and minimal scratching. If it went onto tbe roof and side while moving there would have been a lot of scraping, nevermind that the side airbags should have gone off. My opinion, only.

Good god. Surprised we haven't heard about more wrecks of these. I always assumed most people buying them couldn't really handle the car.

It’s the 20th totaled Hellcat the company has gotten its hands on, but by far the one with the lowest mileage.

There was a story of a guy that took delivery and wrecked it on the way home. That was right after they came out

I am looking at a challenger as my new daily driver but I will get a V6 because I only care about fuel economy. I do not need all that horse power. I know it says up to 30 on the highway but I can get that higher the secret is not to step on the gas.
My 2007 has up to 27 on the highway but I have been getting in the 30s

Saved by crumple zones and airbags.

All else being equal, the driver would likely have died in an older muscle car.

I don't think that would be the case. I know lots of guys that rolled old muscle cars. Now if it had been a convertible...

However, I'm thinking this either had to be very low speed or dropped coming off the ramps as others have suggested.
