Before I just tear into this.
The fan does not come on with heat but will come on with the A/C.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Respectfully, with our non-cold weather just now, seems like a longer-term seasonal issue.

On the other hand, same motor, different circuits. The fan switch will probably be powered through the pushbutton switch? If so, that could well be where the issue is rather than the fan switch itself.

Just some respectful thoughts,

Often it is the vacuum/electrical switch that is causing the problem. A little time with a test light should answer the question.

If you should need to fix it... Although I would try to find a replacement. Check it first though... Don't just replace it.

FYI, on a '68 Fury as soon as you press either A/C or Heat the fan should automatically turn on to the lowest setting.

3175375: If the fan switch is in the off position, the off position is actually the slowest fan setting but the fan does not turn on until you press either heat, a/c or defrost. This is how it was my my very original VIP that I sold a few years ago.
