8 3/4 Axle Housing Width for Fuselage Years?

Are all 69-73 C-body 8 3/4 housings the same flange to flange, and spring center widths? I recall reading the 72 Fury axle housing flange distance was widened but may be misremembering this. DC chassis book does not mention c-body 8 3/4. Thanks.

No. The '69 is narrower than the later cars.

Yea, I saw the link was bad and fixed it.

Point being, the charts aren't that great, but there are differences in rear width.

The reason that C-body axles were not in the old Direct Connection list is that they were not where the "muscle car market" was when the charts were printed.

1969s still had the narrower rear track of the '68s, I believe, as the 1970 and later C-body rear tracks were wider. Not sure about the spring pad widths, though.

The spring pad width changed too. We talked about that in another thread and kind of figured out that the front spring eye mount is the same width, but the wider spring pad width make the offset shackles necessary.
