818 is the scheduled build date. Whether it was actually built that day (August 18, 1972) is another matter.

The interior code is LBF6 not L8F6 — see @marko´s post above. On an Imperial, LBF6 refers to a green cloth and leather — not vinyl — interior. On a Plymouth or Dodge, L also refers to low — but then it’d be cloth & vinyl, as opposed to cloth & leather.
