I have no problem taking tires purchased else ware to a tire store for mount and balance. It's all profit for them. Unless your gullable enough to pay full retail there's not much profit on a tire sale. I do avoid the big box tire stores though as they love to nickel and dime you with their mandatory extra cost procedures.
I really don't think 215's are large enough for a C body and will effect handling. JMHO

I've been running these tires on a '95 Caprice for a couple of years now. Cheap, decent looking, and they ride pretty good too.

Those look like good quality tires Rip. But I still try to buy American where ever possible. That means Cooper for the most part these days.
This 65 300 is really handicapped with the 14" rims. VERY limited choice.

It's sad... I take pride in buying American stuff made by Americans. But it's a lot harder to find American Made now.

I have Mastercraft Avenger RWL (made by Cooper). I may be in the minority but I like the white letter/Magnum look.

I expected you to drive Goodyear Polyglas redlines or Goodyear Speedway Redlines (if the car was buillt within the first 6 weeks of the 69 modelyear).
And you have V8X over your V88 with emblems.

I drive Bias ply on all my muscles.
And they get a lot of use.
Just had to take off a set of redlines last year as they were worn out after 20k miles

I remember I had to replace the bias Goodyear red lines on the A12 I bought new at around 20K also. Those tires were unique to the A12 cars only and were expensive, even then, to replace.

Nah...I decided safety and reliability over originality a long time ago. I want to drive it.
V8X over V88: yep. PO painted the car (wrong shade of white) and put on the stripe before they tried to flip it at BJ in 2000.

I bought it from the guy that bought it from the guy that tried to flip it.
I've spent all the time, and money, on other stuff. I haven't gotten to paint and trim yet. It will, probably, revert to V88 simply because that's the way it came.

Likely B07. The info on the ad is wrong. My car has a badly remade fender tag so I presume it's B07. But that's a story for another time.......

with the VIN "9G125064" (according to the BJ auction) it should be 917 not B07?

125064 actually resides in MN. I've met the owner and seen the car. Mine is 162366
