70bigblockdodge I admire you for what you just did. I have always admired you and so many others here because you all are such a wealth of experience and knowledge, life lessons,great stories of your past, so many things,not just cars. These are really stressful times. I myself have had to bite the bullet and just hit the ignore button on the "We can't ignore the Corona Virus "thread. For me the ignore button wasn't hit because of all that was said that i didn't agree with but the terrible feelings I felt by what and how I said things. It was not productive and only added to the kaos. So I know how you feel and maybe I should write an apology too. It's interesting that humans sometimes do have a tendency of bickering and fighting amongst themselves in the face of the real enemy. Sometimes hating each other even more than the enemy itself.

You can find your way out just like you found your way in. I knew right up front you weren't a real C body guy and I've had a few conversations to that effect with other folks when you started posting. I wasn't surprised you sold your car as you seemed to be in over your head right off the bat. This group has helped me nearly as much as Hobby and the old crew from Moparfins ever did. You'll be lucky if you ever learn as much as some of these guys have forgotten. Be gone with you.

I've numbered the responses to keep it pretty clear...
1. It was not only my first encounter with a C-Body, but also my first classic Mopar. Kinda silly to claim "I'm a C-Body guy" when I just got the damn thing, and even more silly to run off every FNG that comes to the site that doesn't ask the right questions in the right way, by chastising him- or by talking smack about his wife as soon as he joins. (You may have missed that)
2. Again, first rodeo with these cars, and this being the only somewhat active place dedicated to them, it seemed like the place to start.
3. About C-Bodies, old Mopars, and possibly even a few other topics, sure.
Oh, so who defends the new members from the keyboard warriors in the Gold Members section? I was also spitballing numbers, and you can't really call it a fallacy without seeing everything that goes on behind the scenes. You think your name hasn't come up as the butt of a joke? Wrong.

and it's not ruining my day that you feel that way, you're not alone in the world in that aspect. I'm not gonna fight to change your mind, but if you'd like to see for yourself, grab a Gold Membership and check all the posts out for yourself. Hell, there's a thread dedicated to bashing members for everything from thinking outside the box, to not knowing the difference between a ballast resistor and an inline fuse. I'm all for some friendly ribbing in jest, but there are a lot of guys that just take it too far. The difference is, I'll post everything I say in private areas in public areas. I don't do fake nice.
