I had noticed that the car was drifting while driving and I checked my steering componets out and all were good. I changed my front shocks today and wow what a difference...105 mph is a lot more fun now!

I need to change all 4 on my 72 Imp. What did you use?
You may not have to do a total front end rebuild after all...Really? That much improved just by changing the fronts? Excellent

Dave has set the bar quite high. Youve got about 40 mph to go......105 mph is a lot more fun now!s_dancing2:

Really.....your old New Yorker has buried it's speedo more than once, did I say that out loud.
Cornering at 120+ would probably cause me to require two rockers to grab my arms and break me loose from the nagahyde and one ah them butt doctors tah remove the patch of nagahyde I'd take with me
I got my NYB up to 110 a couple of times and still had plenty of pedal left. I have 2:71 gears.
You're Autobahn-approved.![]()
Well I'll tell you at 6000 top speed is 130 at 5500 it should be 120 ish and that is where it will go.Really.....
With the 3.55's, how many RPM's was it turning?
