I had noticed that the car was drifting while driving and I checked my steering componets out and all were good. I changed my front shocks today and wow what a difference...105 mph is a lot more fun now!:os_dancing2:

I need to change all 4 on my 72 Imp. What did you use?

I can't see it. I got my new Vette up to 150 and I was crapping my pants.
A 71 Polara needing a front end? PURE BALLS OF STEEL and a healthy dose of a death wish.

I ran my old Charger (6500rpms,323 gears,15 tires, auto) at 150 more than once and I did lose my window trim and had to go back and find it.lol!!! I'll have to see if I can find some pics of it. We ran my brothers 68 imp past 120 lots of times and your old New Yorker has buried it's speedo more than once, did I say that out loud. I ran my old stealth over 150 and when I ran it with the car club there were 50 plus of us running over 120 in a row. Now that was a little unnerving. The ships don't brother me going fast straight it's just the corning thing that brothers me.lol!!!

Cornering at 120+ would probably cause me to require two rockers to grab my arms and break me loose from the nagahyde and one ah them butt doctors tah remove the patch of nagahyde I'd take with me

Rotflmao!!!

There was a lot more left but when I saw the face on the guy in the car next to me when I passed him I thought I better back it down.

I got my NYB up to 110 a couple of times and still had plenty of pedal left. I have 2:71 gears.

Really.....
With the 3.55's, how many RPM's was it turning?
Well I'll tell you at 6000 top speed is 130 at 5500 it should be 120 ish and that is where it will go.
Some pics from way back.
