    383 differences per year

I thought they kept the bosses on later blocks and just didn't drill and tap them, due to not having to modify/replace the molds?

    Carb fuel line connector

I prefer using the Vice Grip line wrench vs a flare nut wrench set. The 7LW would be perfect for this. Use the 4LW for brake lines...

What is a Sport Fury III, or a Sports Fury?

I have all the stainless, and I bought the inserts several years ago from a guy in Canada that makes them. I also have enough of the horizontal bars on the upsweep to do 1 side. I figure I can make them out of stainless tubing for the other side. I'm leaning towards using emblem tape to hold the...

What is a Sport Fury III, or a Sports Fury?

Yeah, I'm still up in the air on how I'm going to build it, but it will definitely have the Fury sportone trim and not the Savoy trim.

Does it still count as rare with no engine in it?

    Not sure about Vansauto

It's been going on for a long time. About 10-12 years ago I ordered 3 parts from them on eBay (before they had a website), and 2 of the 3 items were completely wrong, not even close to what I ordered. I checked their feedback and discovered it was a common occurrence. I sent them a message...

Safest lube for gas tank O ring?

Oh OK, makes sense, I knew about Plymouth hardtop not getting the bubble windshield until 1959, but I was thinking the roof was was the same, just the trim and gasket were different.

Extra set of eyes needed (online) for purchase 1959 Imperial Crown

These cars had 2 wheel cylinders per drum on the front brakes. I've read it's common for them to pull if not adjusted correctly, and most people don't use the manual for adjusting brakes. If the manual is followed step by step, the problem will probably go away.

    1962 Chrysler Newport

a rear end from a 65-68 C body is a common swap into a forward look car. The spring perches are close enough to not matter and the drum to drum measurement is very close too.

    58 Savoy.

If you're talking about cutting the forward part of the wheel well for fitment, consider moving the rear end back 1/2" to 1" instead. The way I did mine (in a Dart), was I drilled another locating hole in the spring perch. You can also put a spacer in front of the forward spring hanger, but that...

    1966 Imperial Transmission Mount

I bought an original mount from detmatt. It's been over a year and my memory is fuzzy, but I think it dropped right in. I don't remember having to make any adjustments to install it.
