I looked at this ad last night moments after it was listed. I'm convinced it is a steal. Great shape . I see This car as a good car. If it were a two door I'd have been on my way last night.

Okay! 74/75 Imperial side markers on an NYB...I can understand why...because they are among the most pretty marker lights ever made, but it's just so "off"... 75-77 Grille on a 78, but they didn't go the extra mile of swapping the bumper vent inserts. Again looks "off".

Those are 78 NYB only...you can tell by the centre chrome rib. Every other year 74-77 Imperial and NYB only had the chrome outer ring.

So it's more of a paint scheme than a tribute or clone but even the paint is wrong. Sad.

Why would someone reupholster the interior in black? That has got to be the oddest part of this "clone". Looks a lot better than the first post though.

CM27T0C110092 is again for sale, this time on Hemmings. The ad is short on specifics and has just one photo: "This one of a kind Chrysler 300 convertible has a new top and new upholstery/black. Newly rebuilt carburetor with a 440 industrial engine. This is a sweet ride."

The ad states that he is only selling the motor out of that "ole girl". Must be planning a 350 for the derby? Why just the motor and trans?

It will be painted eventually.. I like to get them drivable, enjoy them and work on them. Hmmm Syracuse Nationals....... hmmm....

Two questions now that it's drivable... Is it going to be painted or are you going for the rough patina look? And will I see this at the Syracuse Nationals next year?

I had this problem in my Newport after replacing the steering gear. A slight adjustment of the steering gear valve body corrected the problem. Here’s a great video showing correctly how to fix it. watch video from 7:28 onward
