    1970 monaco subframe repair

I'm curious, I have E bodies. What were you going to use from the Polara on your Challenger. The engine and transmission would work, but anything else? I agree with you, I would fix that and get another parts car. Maybe you can find another one in poor condition, but with a good sub frame.

    Old 413 Camshaft Selection

You can rebuild a 413 using newer heads, etc. The only parts that would end up being somewhat of a problem would be the choice and cost of pistons. Just about everything else would be parts that would fit a 440. The only real downside would be that you are losing some cubic inches to the 440...

courtesy lights - bench seat cars?

One of the contacts on all courtesy lights are run to the same +12 volt source, the cigarette lighter socket is also connected to that same source. The other contact is also connected together and run to ground - either through the door switch or the dimmer switch. None of the lamps make a...

Getting more power in a C body

Any A body or C body pan should work.Mancini racing sells an A body oil pan package but shipping is probably a bear overseas.

Yes it only needs a freshening he told me. But as mentioned the oil pan is different and I would like to get a new one that fits our car so I won't have to use the old one.

    68 300 upgrades from stock (cams/heads etc.)

I'm getting ready to rebuild the HP 440 in my '70 convertible. @david hill is doing the work, and I think this is the cam we will use: Parts Lookup - Melling CL-MTD-2 David has had excellent results using this "RV" type cam even with a 2.76 gear.

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

Gracious acceptance. Dignified. Understated. :poke: Unlike my friend here. I still like her though -- from" Gidget" till now were both senior citizens (she's way older though):)

1967 Chrysler Newport Custom aka "Blonde Ambition"

If that engine is what it is supposed to be, it should have the better tri-metal bearings, windage tray, and moly-channel compression rings. Possibly a double-roller timing chain? Hopefully, it will just need a freshening! Great find, CBODY67

So, I have a 1970 383/727 out of an Arizona police pursuit car with 34k miles which will go in our 67 Newport Custom. In that regard I wonder if there are any aftermarket oil pans that will fit our car since the shape is different from what's on it now. Yes I can use the one on our current...

    Old 413 Camshaft Selection

The 413 was always a respectable motor. With a modern-era cam rather than the ones it usually came with back then, better-flowing heads (as to ports rather than valve sizes), and better intakes, The "got to be step-child" RB motor can build credible power. Not unlike a 327 compared to a 350...
