    Adjustable voltage regulator

The battery should be around 13.6 - 13.8 with the car off after a 20 minute drive without lights on. I don’t feel that 14.0 volts is an issue with the car running.

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport Navajo Coupe on FB, NE PA $8500

Agree. It looks very, very clean. Unless the stripes have been repainted, my bet is that the mileage shown (38k in the video) may be the actual one (i.e., the odometer has not rolled over). This said, verification is needed. I note that the condition of the engine bay in the photos does not...

    Another Disc brake question.

It's become a challenge to get new drums that are round anymore. Not as much of a problem with disc. At least it's easy to check a disc. I have a brake lathe, and every single drum I get needs to be cut. I think the shippers are beating them out of round.

    Got them moved to Fresno!

U-haul builds and limits the size of the trailer to limit the weight of the towed car on the trailer in order to limit the total towed weight so people don't tow 10,000 pounds with their U-Haul rental trucks. They want to rent to folks towing little Hondas. Their trailers are built heavy to...

    Ammeter bypass

Right. Maybe I'm dumb because I seem to keep forgetting the original context was the Dodge truck ammeters burning and not the car ammeters. In any case, your recommendations are great for cutting through all the misconceptions built up over the decades and I think the three points I summarised...

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

Wouldn't even necessarily have to be stainless, even a body color band might do. Absolute crazy thought --- illuminated plexiglass band. Like edge lit, or something. Is that even a thing? Just me and the cat home now. Sometimes the mind wanders into strange territory while otherwise unoccupied.

    Torsion Bar Problem

Very good suggestion, Jeff. Easy mistake to make. It seems "normal" to most folks to get everything back in place, with the arms hanging down, and tighten those shaft nuts. Even when you read the FSM it's not at all clear the reason for having full weight on the tires when you tighten 'em.
