    68 Monaco Wagon Parting Out

Does it have a rear facing seat in the back?

    1968 Dodge Polara S/W

I had several hundred pounds of weight in the back a few weeks ago and it was nice to not have it dragging low out back, plus I will be towing a trailer with it, that has a fair amount of tongue weight, so it will be nice to be able to keep it level. It actually sits lower than when I first...

Headers for a 67 New Yorker

This is the issue coming out next month? That's something I'd be interested in. I guess with a 318 I've got more space than most of you for headers...

What viscosity and brand engine oil and filter do you prefer to use in your C-Body?

I run 10-40 Rotella Diesel oil w/ Mopar filter. Seems to work great so far... Has high zinc (as mentioned) and the filter looks good in the engine bay ;)

LoL... Would you like a video? When I bleed them out to empty it only settles maybe a 1/4" lower than in the pics. When I bring the pressure up, I can get almost another 1.5" height out of it. As far as ride, I find its always firmer than hydro shocks, but when I add air when I'm hauling a...

Yes to air shocks in the rear, but only running 5psi in them just to keep them from being bottomed. I've not touched the torsion bars, but I think the front shocks are gone, so that might not help the bit of sag I've got going.

Thanks man, you should have come introduced yourself, I tried to walk around and talk to all the C body owners I could find! I'd love those pics. Shoot them to creid07@gmail.com Here's some pics from this AM while it was still clean from the show. You can see the new tires and exhaust I did...

    1968 Dodge Polara S/W

No, we were talking about the 3rd row rear seat for the wagon, that faces the back window. I got the new exhaust put on as well, and should get pics as soon as the weather is nice enough and I can get a video too... Thanks for the comments guys!

Wow. Sorry for the delay! Thanks man! Is that the full assembly with brackets etc? Anyone know if it would just bolt into the existing holes in the rear? The Wagon (Her name is now officially Winnie) got some new BFG Radial T/A's (Found some 14's) and hopefully going to have a small exhaust...

I've found plenty of selection in a 225/70R14 that is the correct replacement for my original 8.25-14 tires the car originally came equipped with...

    Fluids!

Well thanks for all the discussion, but lets get back to the original question. I'm planning on running Shell Rotella T Diesel 15w40 oil with Mopar filter in the motor, ATF4 for the trans and green prestone coolant with a 180 thermostat. Any issues (other than the thermostat, thats my...

    Fluids!

Thanks Stan. I already planned on getting a 160 Thermostat and either trying to find molded hoses, or just going to my local hydraulics dealer and grabbing a few feet of 5/8" and 1 1/2" and putting on new hoses. I'm going to change the trans fluid filter as well when I do the fluid change.

    Fluids!

It will be driven, not going to be trailered. Will be going to Mopar Nats and Carlisle hopefully this summer in it. Won't be daily driven, but expecting it to see usage on the weekends plus some road trips. No towing at least this summer. Thanks 'GoodNeighbour' for your suggestions!

    Fluids!

Guys. Hope this is the right place to put this, I've got my new Wagon almost ready for the road, but I'd like to change all the driveline fluids. What do you folks recommend for Coolant, Engine Oil (Additives?), Transmission fluid, Rear Diff Fluid? What do you use, what do you like...

    1968 Dodge Polara S/W

Running the stock 14's for now... I guess I'm going 75 series profile, but hard to find an easy size. EDIT: After looking around, closest size I can find to the original 8.55-14 is a 225/70R14... Seems to be closest and best option if I'm going to stick with my 14's for now...

Thanks again guys. Its original paint that was touched up with various silver spray paints over the years :( Its in good condition, but the paint is "meh". Being original, I have no intention of painting it though. Will try and clean it up as good as possible... What I will need for safety...
